This type of food get entangled into the braces and can damage them, which can be problem for the child. Even meat is not very advisable, because it is hard to chew. Moreover its strings may get caught into teeth and braces and are difficult to wipe out.
And obviously, following every meal or snacks it is suitable to brush and also floss the teeth to remove any sugary or other residue left on them or the braces. Make sure that the child is skilled in both these jobs. Particularly flossing is very required for braces for kids, as brushing alone is unable to reach all the corners of oral cavity.
